Use this sports bra support development checklist to discuss fit, fabric, support and development feasibility; it does not establish an underwear catalogue product. A sports-bra support brief should specify the intended activity, wearer size range and a fitting/testing plan. Fabric stretch or a 'high support' label alone cannot establish the finished garment's performance. The current DIYASI catalogue on this site contains underwear, not an in-stock sports-bra range.

Start with the activity and wearer
Yoga, walking and running create different movement demands. Define the intended use and the body measurements your size system covers, then discuss whether the factory can develop and test the required construction. Confirm capability before committing to a launch date.
| Development question | What to review |
|---|---|
| Support structure | Compression, encapsulation or a combination |
| Underband | Stability, pressure and recovery |
| Straps | Width, adjustability and load distribution |
| Cups and coverage | Fit across the intended size range |
| Validation | Movement testing and documented wearer feedback |
Test beyond a flat measurement
Evaluate movement, breathing comfort, coverage and ease of putting the garment on and taking it off. Record the activity and test conditions. Avoid translating a single fitting result into a universal support claim.
Confirm a development route
Send the target market, reference construction, measurements, projected quantity and required evidence with your inquiry. Ask about pattern work, sample rounds, testing arrangements and production capability. If the route is unavailable, revise the scope before ordering materials.
Define a development brief before selecting a factory
This is a planning guide, not a listing of tested sports bras. The current DIYASI catalogue does not establish a sports-bra support rating. Any proposed sports-bra project needs a feasibility review, size-specific prototypes and an agreed wearer-testing method before support claims are published.
| Brief item | Required decision |
|---|---|
| Use | Intended activity and duration |
| Wearer | Size range, fit requirements and test participants |
| Construction | Straps, band, cups, closures and materials |
| Evidence | Agreed test method and approval criteria for each claim |
One more thing
Can I order a sports bra from the current collection?
There is no sports-bra SKU in the replacement catalogue. Contact the team to discuss development feasibility instead of assuming stock or an existing minimum order.

Product examples refer to the DIYASI catalogue. External standards explain their own scope; a reference is not a claim that a specific garment or factory is certified.
