Build a print brief that can be measured

Inspect the physical strike-off and sewn sample
Review the printed fabric first, then a garment made from it. Check whether a motif is distorted across the waistband, pouch and leg opening. Look at both relaxed and gently stretched states, using a consistent method. If a design crosses a seam, check the permitted mismatch on the finished sample rather than expecting an impossible perfect match by assumption.
Compare the print after the care review specified for the product. Record color movement, cracking or loss of detail if observed; do not advertise a test result without a documented method and outcome. If the pattern or fabric changes, a previous strike-off may no longer be a valid reference.
Release the correct version to production
Label the approved artwork, strike-off and garment sample with the same revision code. Specify which file controls colors and which physical sample controls appearance. Agree who approves a bulk shade or placement deviation, and request a production sample if a component changes before cutting.
